At the end of July, Julie Winter will be transitioning from her post as A6’s Gallery & Studio Director to busy studio artist. Julie plans to focus on her teaching and art making and also begin working toward a long-held goal of earning her MFA.
We have benefited from Julie’s deep passion and commitment to A6 starting back in 2009 when she joined A6 as an artist member and volunteer. Over the last six years, Julie has served A6 in myriad ways—as a teacher, operations manager, and interim Executive Director—and has been instrumental in creating our educational programs: Students to A6 and Tumbleweed Press. We are grateful for all she has done to make A6 remarkable and relevant to our community.
