A6 will go dark from December 28 to January 7 while we move our studio and gallery to our new location in Old Mill Marketplace. Be sure to join us when we light it up for our Grand Opening on January 8!
We’ll have studio tours and demonstrations, live music by The Groove Merchants, and a reception for our January exhibit, “Amazonia: Works by Bob Nugent.” The party starts at 5 pm.
A6’s new space in Old Mill Marketplace (550 SW Industrial Way, Suite 180) maintains a similar layout to its original location, with a gallery in the front and a professional print and book arts studio in the back. “We plan to build on programs that connect the art in our exhibits with hands-on arts learning in the studio,” explains Executive Director Dawn Boone. “Students, artists, and everyday visitors deepen their appreciation and understanding of art when they can see, listen, and do.”
